HI autel first of all great job with the maxidas 708 great scanner to make it even greater add the ability to change the vin number on gm,ford,chrysler and the ability to reconfigure this modules on this vehicles and this will be the greater scanner ever built thank you.

Hi mikethesitch1 thank you for your response, but I change vin numbers on this cars computer everyday for instance on gm with the tis software and the tech2 you can change the vin numbers on the ecm you have to program the computer to be able to do this same goes for ford with the vcm and ids software you can change the vin number on the pcm everytime you program the computer weather is used or new you have the ability to change vin numbers, the only one I have been able to change with the maxidas is chrysler and it does it very well i know on gm and ford the computers needs to be reflash to be able to change vin numbers but It will be nice if maxidas can come up with something like this with the 708 or the 808 just dreaming anyway have a good day and thank you for your time good day.

Reply to 5 floor: thank you yes but only on chrysler I am doing gm and ford on line with a passthru but it will be nice if you can acomplish this feature I test many fifferent scanners everyday I think by far this is the best one I ever worked with keep up the good work and thank you againg so much for your product and tech support good day.
